The demonstration highlights the versatility of 5G Broadcast in operating as a standalone broadcasting platform or in conjunction with mobile network operators (MNOs) through a seamless service continuity feature.
Rohde & Schwarz showcases the flexibility of 5G Broadcast in delivering a mix of live streaming services, significantly enhancing the consumer experience in Brazil. This demonstration illustrates the practical applications and benefits of 5G Broadcast technology in the region.
On the reception side, commercially available Motorola Edge devices powered by a Snapdragon® mobile platform have been modified to enable content reception without requiring a SIM subscription. This innovative approach ensures broader accessibility and ease of use for consumers.
