Connecting the present, building the future
The company will highlight four key technologies, all making their CABSAT debut, that are transforming broadcast workflows across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. FOR-A IMPULSE (Integrated Media Platform with UnLimited StructurE), winner of the Best of Show Award at NAB 2025, represents the next evolution in software-defined live production, consolidating switchers, signal processors, multi-viewers, graphic generators, audio mixers and media players into a single software-based solution. With its intuitive graph editor, operators can design custom production pipelines instantly, adapting to any production requirement without hardware constraints.
The flagship HANABI HVS-Q12 represents a quantum leap in production switcher design, delivering broadcast-grade reliability in a space-efficient 4RU package. This powerful switcher is license upgradable from 3G to 12G, providing a seamless migration path to 4K/UHD workflows. The HVS-Q12 offers remarkable versatility with up to 60 inputs and 32 outputs in 3G mode, and up to 42 inputs and 23 outputs in 12G mode, both of which include 2 HDMI outputs, with IP interfaces for both Dante and NDI®* support.
The award-winning FOR-A MixBoard, powered by ClassX, continues to gain industry recognition, recently securing the prestigious Best of Show Award at NAB 2025 after previously winning TVBEurope Best of Show at IBC2024 where it was first launched. This software-based switcher offers unlimited layering capabilities, and “mixed and matched” between SDI, NDI, SMPTE ST 2110, media, and live streams, which transforms the creative potential of live productions. Available in 8-input and 16-input versions with versatile format support, FOR-A MixBoard combines advanced features with an intuitive interface.
Making its regional debut at CABSAT 2025, codename: AiDi** is FOR-A's groundbreaking AI-powered production assistant. AiDi operates without an internet connection, processing video in real-time with remarkably low latency on a single PC. The system leverages learning from over half a century of archived footage, enabling applications including automated subtitle translation, sound analysis, video monitoring, face and object recognition, graphic synthesis, and player tracking for sports broadcasting.
"The broadcast landscape in the Middle East and Africa continues to evolve rapidly with major sporting events, cultural celebrations, and government initiatives driving demand for higher quality content and more flexible delivery options," says Mohammed Abu Ziyadeh, FOR-A Regional Manager for the Middle East and Africa. "Our solutions bridge traditional workflows with next-generation technologies, allowing broadcasters to evolve at their own pace, whether maintaining SDI infrastructures, exploring hybrid workflows, or fully embracing IP and software-defined production."
