New software solutions extend trusted timing measurement across broadcast, venue, and professional AV applications
Hitomi's new software solutions create a comprehensive ecosystem that connects different parts of the broadcast chain, enabling teams to share analysis resources and measure timing accuracy from camera to final distribution.
At IBC2025, Hitomi will demonstrate its "glass-to-glass" measurement capability, showing how end-to-end latency can be precisely measured from camera capture through to final display. This addresses the critical need for understanding timing throughout the entire signal path as direct-to-consumer streaming becomes more prevalent.
"As the world becomes more software-focused, so does Hitomi," explains Russell Johnson, Director at Hitomi. "We're moving with the times to provide broadcasters with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their content is perfectly timed, regardless of delivery method. We have been working with a number of trusted partners to bring our timing capabilities within places where it’s never been before".
Visit Hitomi at IBC 2025 in Hall 10, Stand A40, for live demonstrations of these capabilities. For more information on Hitomi and its products, see hitomi.tv.
