New studio monitoring leads Glensound's 60th year line-up at IBC 2026

Glensound returns to IBC with a major new addition to its intelligent loudspeaker range, the Greater Divine Supernal studio monitor, alongside recent developments in Dante interfacing, intercom and specialist parliamentary audio. The company's 60th anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the show, with surprise giveaways and its diamond anniversary special, the GTM Diamond, covered in more than 4,000 hand-placed Swarovski crystals, also on the stand. 

Building on the award-winning Divine loudspeaker and the Greater Divine studio monitor, Greater Divine Supernal takes Glensound's intelligent loudspeaker concept further into professional studio monitoring. Glensound's Embedded Module adds 1Gb networking, eight network inputs, USB-C inputs, headphone output and EQ control, creating the most advanced intelligent studio monitor in the Glensound range.  Shipping at the end of 2026. 

Responding to the need for more capable low-channel-count Dante interfaces, Glensound will show the DARK22M. The compact two-in, two-out unit brings analogue, USB and Dante audio together, with each XLR input independently selectable for mic, 48V phantom power or line level. USB-C adds bi-directional USB to Dante connectivity, while copper and fibre networking, redundancy and remote control give the DARK22M the capabilities to work within much larger Dante systems. 

Reflecting the growing expectations of intercom users, the Beatrice R12 MkII is the first of the second generation of Beatrice intercom. Multiple displays show source and destination labels directly from Dante Controller, while a five-way lever on each of the 12 channels puts talk, listen and incoming level control directly under the operator's hand. New audio dynamics help manage noise and feedback, making the R12 MkII the most complete Beatrice unit yet. 

Central to the IBC presentation is PBS, Glensound's Parliamentary Broadcast System. Debating chambers and committee rooms are not standard meeting environments, and Glensound has spent more than 35 years refining audio specifically for them. PBS combines clarity-focused audio processing and distribution with voting, delegate management, camera control and logging, providing a modular Dante-based system for the room and the broadcast, recording and sound reinforcement feeds leaving it.
