In broadcast facilities, and particularly for news and sport, teams need to communicate to create, check and place graphics elements, quickly and securely. Because of its extensive experience in applications like this, Brainstorm has designed a wide-access, multi-site asset management system tuned specifically to these requirements.
Engram is a HTML-based platform, with interfaces matched to the specific needs of journalists, editors, designers, production operators and system administrators. Work orders connect editorial requests to graphics production, ensuring that rights management and quality control are protected, along with versioning and sign-off. It tightly integrates with Brainstorm products, including eStudio, Aston, InfinitySet and Edison, so the same editorial and management workflows apply whether the request is for a simple caption or a complete AR sequence.
“Our many users around the world tell us that our graphics systems provide the speed and productivity they need in fast-paced environments,” said Miguel Churruca, marketing and communications director at Brainstorm. “What they needed was a management layer that could keep up, that could track everything from workloads on designers to rights clearances, as well as moving material through the system from sourcing to formatting for air. That is why we are excited to unveil Engram at IBC.”
The busy Brainstorm presence at IBC2026 showcases the latest developments in graphics technology, embodied in Suite 7, the latest release of software across the product range, alongside the launch of Engram. The stand also includes a green screen studio with a Sony FR7 Cinema Line camera, showcasing how a high-quality PTZ camera integrates with Brainstorm graphics for real-time augmented reality.
“With the practical advances in Suite 7, our creative platforms InfinitySet, Aston and Edison, together with our acclaimed render engine eStudio, meet the real challenges of today’s high pressure broadcast environment,” said Hector Viguer, Brainstorm’s chief operating officer. “Engram is the natural extension, providing comprehensive asset management and workflow tracking for ever more efficiency.
“Making life simple and cost-effective is obviously a key goal,” Viguer added. “But so too is sustainability: a long-term commitment of ours and a topic at the top of every conversation. With Suite 7 and Engram we have focused on fine-tuning software to run with maximum effectiveness on standard in-house hardware, minimizing footprint and energy costs, a vital contribution to good stewardship as well as business benefits.”
IBC visitors are invited to take a seat in the presentation area, relax and talk to the Brainstorm team about the latest developments in broadcast graphics creation and delivery. Find out more on IBC2026 stand 7.A15, or at brainstorm.tv.
